LOTUS & HAMSA Earrings

The idea for LOTUS came when I learned the technique of beading, where the beading rod connects the beautiful crystal with the lotus flower. I fell in love with the beautiful flower and immediately knew I wanted to include it in my collection. And when I found the Hamsa hand, I knew it had to be with the lotus flower and unite the spiritual world I love so much.

The Lotus flower is regarded in many cultures as a symbol of purity, enlightenment and rebirth. That even out of the muddiest water, the most beautiful Lotus flower grows. A reminder that can be applied to your own life. I have chosen to combine it with Rose Quartz - a love stone, which is beautiful along with the meaning behind the lotus flower, and Larvikite, which provides protection against negativity and unwanted energies.

Hamsa - known in some cultures as the hand of Fatima - is believed to bring protection, strength and blessings. Within the Hamsa hand is the symbol of the evil eye. Both the Hamsa hand and the evil eye protect the wearer of the jewelry from evil and jealousy - and instead bring joy, happiness/luck and good health.
