DANCERS Earrings in leather

DANCERS is made from recycled leather - small scraps from the leather I use for BUMBAGS.

DANCERS started with inspiration in a bellflower. I thought about how to make the leaves for a long time until the idea of using leather scraps from my production of BUMBAGS came up. The top consists of Delica beads embroidered on a brass top. When I made the first pair, they reminded me of a ballerina. However, it was only when nature sent the fruit of the maple tree my way that the name DANCER was born. The fruit of a maple dances down from the tree when it falls. From this came the name DANCER

DANCERS are graceful and lightweight, but at the same time have a raw touch in the form of the leather.

Use them as a pair or individually, combining them with another earring/ear stud. I often wear them individually with a feather earring or a small stud earring.
